Meadow House is our newest transition home designed for families

We have opened the home and have 3 beautiful families that have moved in. This spacious 7 bedroom house is home to 3 families plus a house monitor. The unique configuration of this house is perfectly setup for each family to have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Our goal is to help these families get out of homelessness and back on their feet, but we need your continued support.

We have been able to add to our resources for our Meadow House residents. For example, as part of living at the Meadow House we have a Marriage and Family Therapist there two days a week for individual counseling, as well as, family counseling and life skills classes. The trauma of being homeless impacts each person in the family differently, so it is important that each family member be supported. It is also an opportunity for the children to break generational poverty and see a different and better life for themselves. And, for the parents to stabilize, so they can provide a home where the children can flourish.

Jobs and affordable housing are key elements for our clients and we are hoping that you may be the connection to helping them to attain these.

On 4/25/15 several of the churches in the Elk Grove area dedicated their time and volunteer labor at many projects. HART was able to have a team of volunteers from First Baptist Church assist the HART volunteers to paint the interior of the new HART House. Many thanks to Kelly-Moore Paints for the extremely generous donation of ALL the paint for the house!!!
